Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco may play in the worst weather conditions of his NFL career Sunday.

FlaccoThe forecast for Chicago's Soldier Field is 64 degrees, which is quite pleasant for the Midwest in November. But the area is also expected to have strong storms and wind. The chance of rain is 70 percent, and the Windy City will live up to its name with gusts over 25 miles per hour.

"It's typical Chicago weather," said Ravens cornerback Corey Graham, who played five seasons for the Bears. "It's crazy. You have to be used to playing in it. It's tough to throw in it. It affects games."

Based on the quarterbacks, the Ravens should have an advantage on the Bears' windy home field. Flacco has a much stronger arm than the Bears' Josh McCown, which will come into play on deep throws and passes outside the numbers.

In his NFL career, Flacco is 3-1 in games when the wind has been at least 20 miles per hour at kickoff. His numbers haven't been great in these conditions (51 percent completion rate and average of 191.5 yards passing with four touchdowns and two interceptions) but they've been good enough.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said the team has prepared for the weather all week.

"It’s probably more of a situation where you have the various game-plan options that you need plays-wise," he said. "But you won’t know until you start playing the game how that it’s going to affect the game.”
